Hi there! It’s so nice to meet you! I’m Adriana and I’m a wedding and couples photographer based in Phoenix, Arizona. I wanted to share a little bit more about who I am when I’m not behind the camera. From my previous work before I had my own business to my other hobbies I hope you can learn something new about the person behind the lens of Adriana Maya Photography!

Before I was a professional photographer and started my own business I worked in Museums right out of college. I worked at the Heard Museum in Phoenix as an archivist for a large-scale exhibition and got to work with historic images. I also worked in Bridal helping brides design their custom wedding dresses online!

I love cats and my family has had cats throughout my entire life! If someone sends me a cute cat video it definitely makes my day a lot better. When I first met my spouse Erin they said they didn’t really like cats and they are now a total cat parent. Erin’s suggested posts on Instagram are all of cats and I’ve never been more proud.

I love sushi and I’m always looking for new sushi places to try especially while traveling! During our recent trip to Hawaii, the absolute highlight of the trip for me was getting to eat so many amazing fresh fish! Our current favorite sushi spot in downtown Phoenix is Moira Sushi Bar and I would highly recommend checking it out!

My spouse Erin started taking me to antique stores when we started dating and this is still one of our favorite things to do together! I’m a huge lover of vintage glassware and vintage furniture and one of my life goals are to have my own office with amazing vintage furniture!

I’ve been developing my own personal style for the last two years. It started as a quarantine hobby and turned into a full-on passion for me. I’ve always been interested in fashion and I loved watching shows like Project Runway with my mom as a kid. I recently got a sewing machine and have been learning how to tailor my own clothes and maybe will make some full custom pieces for myself soon!
