One of the most magical places in Arizona has to be Sedona. From the Red Rocks to the magnetic energy, it is one of the perfect places to get married!

For this styled shoot, my models were Stephanie and Michele and I couldn’t have asking for a better pair to work with! These two met in college at a sorority event for Gamma Rho Lambda LGBTQ+ Sorority at ASU. Stephanie describes their first meeting as “love at first sight” and they quickly became friends and then started dating a little while after. They both love their dogs, hikes, and bonding over their love of vegan food! They were married in Sedona in February of 2022 so they were so exited to re-live the day and model for this shoot!

Some of my favorite locations in Sedona were the perfect spots for this shoot. Cathedral Rock is an iconic location for hiking and getting married. I even got married there myself! The hike up is moderate and is easily done in a wedding dress. If you want to go all the way to the top of the trail (which is more of a difficult hike but worth the amazing photos)I highly recommend bringing hiking boots and a change of clothes to be more comfortable to hike in.

Another one of my favorite locations is Secret Slick Rock Trail! This easy-to-walk trail is the best to shoot at towards sunset and has a stunning view of the the backside of Cathedral Rock! There are several other amazing locations in Sedona for an adventure elopement like Merry Go Round, Bell Rock, and Secret Sedona Cave! No matter the location you choose the views of the Red Rocks of Sedona are sure to make your elopement photos epic!
