Bonded to you in emotional bliss, united in physical rapture, I realize my dreams as fantasies. Engulfed in contentment and satisfaction. I know heaven in your arms. My intense hunger is nourished, deep yearning fulfilled, I am open to you in total trust. You are my refuge, my everything.
After rescheduling several times, a backyard ceremony, and a global pandemic Andy Cahoon and Mary Townsend Cahoon hosted their fairytale wedding/vow renewal at Villa Siena in Gilbert, Arizona.
I’ve known Mary Townsend Cahoon since I was almost fifteen years old! She was actually one of my first models at the beginning of my photography career. She has modeled for me many times throughout the years and I have photographed everything from her senior portraits to her engagement photos! Mary is an incredible actor and singer and met her now-husband Andy when they were acting together.
One of the best parts of this event was that Mary designed and created her own blue wedding dress! Blue is the couple’s shared favorite color and the favorite color of Mary’s late father. Mary took inspiration from one of her costumes during the play Merry Wives of Windsor that the couple was acting in (as a couple that gets married, talk about fate) when they first met.
The day was filled with friends and family and felt like an event worth waiting for. Villa Siena is located in Gilbert, Arizona, and is reminiscent of the town square of Siena Italy. The venue features lush greenery, glittering chandeliers, and beautiful stonework to make guests feel transported to an authentic Italian Villa.
The look and feel of this stunning venue and the beautiful story of this couple made for a truly magical day that I was so lucky to be part of. Starting with a tender first look between Andy and Mary leading into a heartfelt ceremony. After the ceremony, their guest danced the rest of the night away in the ballroom and ended the night with a sparkler exit!
Follow me behind the lens at this magical wedding!
Hey there, I’m Adriana! I’ve been in love with photography for 10 years. Creating photos that had feeling and meaning was something that I craved while working in the dark room. Photographing couples and their love was an absolute game-changer. It was a powerful and intimate thing to be part of and having the ability to create art using my couple's stories as inspiration is everything to me. I’m passionate about providing an experience built on genuine connection + care. I want to hold space for you so that you can show up as your true, authentic self. Let’s get to know each other!
